Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Review
Design & Display
5.5 inches display with a 2.5D curved glass to make its edges softer. This one is a slimmer model with just 8.5mm tapered edges. Note 4 is made of anodised aluminium which is durable and looks attractive too. Now its speakers aren’t on its back because if the speakers are on the backside and we put the phone on a table, the voice lowers down significantly, so the best place for speakers is the bottom, and Xiaomi has done it this time in Redmi Note 4. But sadly speaker voice output isn’t very loud(Similar to previous models) because of just one speaker in it. And apparently a fingerprint scanner on its back.
CPU
It features a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor with an Adreno 506 GPU. It’s not as powerful as Snapdragon 650, but this CPU is much stable and runs any heavy stuff quickly. Moreover, it’s equipped with 14nm FinFET technology; it’s incredible technology.
RAM and Storage
Redmi Note 4 comes in 3 different variants, one is 2GB RAM with 32GB storage, second is 3GB with 32GB storage, and last one is the more potent with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. And you can surely enhance that storage with an external microSD card up to 128GB.
Battery
The battery is improved in Note 4 as compared to earlier models, now it has a 4100 mAh battery, and its combination with Snapdragon 625 is insane, and you’ll get out of the box battery time. It can last more than three days. But charging this battery quickly could be an issue.
Camera
Honestly, people were expecting a 16MP camera in it, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has a 13MP camera, but wait a minute, do you know it’s better than that 16MP camera? Yes, it’s true. After comparing its camera, we didn’t give a damn to numbers because this 13MP camera is much more improved than 16MP. Also, its “tap to focus” feature doesn’t make the pixels dead or expose them while in earlier Xiaomi devices it was an issue.
Other Features
Hybrid Slot: So now you have two micro sims and one microSD card in its hybrid slot.
Android OS: It runs Android 7.0 Nougat which is the latest one by Android.
Colors: It comes in Gold, Dark Grey and Matte Black colors.
LTE Support: It features an X9 Modem with LTE support so that you can enjoy better and faster internet on it.
